About This Cottage

The cottage is full of character and tradition flows with beamed ceilings and original 'arrow flight' windows. The Old Byre has fabulous views over the surrounding countryside and the River Wear.
The cottage is one of the four barn conversions located on our small livestock farm on the outskirts of the village of Frosterley. With its three bedrooms it can comfortably accommodate up to six guests.
Set within an attractive court yard setting, complemented by a pond and shrubberies there is adequate off road parking.
The cottage also has full use of the owner’s lovely large gardens, albeit shared with other guests there is ample space for everyone! Within the gardens you will find a number of lawned areas, children’s play area, games room, ample seating and fabulous views over the surrounding fields.

Cot and High chair by arrangement with owner.
No Smoking

2 pets welcome. A charge of £15 per pet per stay will be added. Please keep pets off the bedding and soft furnishings and on a lead in the communal areas, thank you.

This property shares a site with The Gin Gang (sleeps 10), The Stables (Sleeps 7) and River View (sleeps 4). All cottages can be booked together to accommodate 27 guests.
