Set in the heart of the village of Frosterley with fabulous views over the surrounding Durham Dales is Betsdale Caravan Park.
Our well landscaped park has forty pitches with all caravans being privately owned.
The parks size makes it a very friendly site, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Many of our current owners have been with us for years and enjoy coming to stay as often as possible to catch up with their friends.
As park owners we thrive to look after our caravan owners and we love nothing more than to see their children grow up on the park. We even have some pitches where families have passed it down through their generations.
The well maintained pitches are all fully serviced and have adequate parking.
Being in the village itself the park has easy access to the shops and pubs Frosterley has to offer. Being in the heart of Weardale makes the park a great place to explore the other local villages, experience some fabulous walks or visit some of the great attractions the Durham Dales has to offer.
So if you are thinking about a second home in the country why not make it with us on Betsdale Caravan park? You will not be disappointed!
“You could travel the country and not find a better site anywhere and certainly not better site owners!!
There's plenty to do within a reasonable distance or just enjoy the rest and beautiful scenery.
You can chill on your own or if you want company there's always a kettle on somewhere.”
“Wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Great views; great company when you need it and peace and quiet when you don't! Ideal for local walks and for getting further afield and more accommodating owners you could not find. Good facilities nearby and easy access to larger towns if required.”
“Have owned a caravan for nearly a year now,and the site is fantastic everyone there is so friendly.”
We explored the local towns, Durham, Newcastle, Auckland Castle, Raby Castle, Hamsterley Forest and played Golf at Brancepeth Castle. All of which were fab days out and fell in love with the scenery and local life. Valerie was a brilliant host and this house was fantastic.
Comfortable and warm, we wanted for nothing. A beautiful part of the country
We enjoyed the garden and BBQ and the boys especially enjoyed the pool table. We spent a day at South Shields, did a lovely bike ride through Hamsterley Forest and a spent a day at Alnwick Castle. We even had fun when it rained!
