About This Cottage

The cottage is the largest of the four barn conversions located on our small livestock farm on the outskirts of the village of Frosterley. With its five bedrooms it can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests. There is also an added bonus of one of the double bedrooms being on the ground floor, with its own ensuite shower room it is ideal for our more elderly or partially disabled guests.
Set within an attractive court yard setting, complemented by a pond and shrubberies there is adequate off road parking.
The cottage also has full use of the owner’s lovely large gardens, albeit shared with other guests there is ample space for everyone! Within the gardens you will find a number of lawned areas, childrens play area, games room, ample seating and fabulous views over the surrounding fields.

The cottage facilities include:

2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room
2 twin bedrooms
1 downstairs double bedroom with en-suite shower room, suitable for the elderly or partially disabled.
House bathroom with a corner bath and shower.
Downstairs toilet
Large beamed lounge with freeview TV,  DVD player, CD Player and a gas log burner.
Kitchen/diner with a dual fuel range cooker, microwave, dish washer, 2 fridges, freezer and seating for ten guests.
Utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Free Wi-Fi
Gas, electricity, bed linen and towels provided.
Cot and High chair by arrangement with owner.
No smoking

2-3 pets welcome (depending on size). A charge of £15 per pet per stay will be added. Please keep pets off the bedding and soft furnishings and on a lead in the communal areas, thank you.

A shared garden with ponds, several lawn areas and a large decked area which is accessed via 6 steps.

This property shares a site with The Old Byre (Sleeps 6), The Stables (sleeps 7), and River View (sleeps 4). All cottages can be booked together to accommodate 27 guests.
